Yes, it’s the More Supreme Daiquiri—a cocktail so delicious that its predecessor, the *Merely* Supreme Daiquiri, is lost to the ages. 

Two ingredients distinguish this recipe from the conventional rum/lime/sugar Daiquiri: It calls for aged Rhum Agricole in place of a molasses-based rum and a dollop of Campari to add a touch of bitterness.

Answer: The phrase “Rhum Agricole” is a French term that translates to “agricultural rum”—rum produced from the juice of freshly cut sugarcane and a style characteristic of French overseas territories and former colonies in the West Indies, some of which have protected geographical indications under European Union law. A typical Rhum Agricole is smoother and lighter than molasses-based rums, with grassy, floral, and herbal notes. There are unaged (“Blanc” or white) expressions as well as the aged style called for in this recipe. 

The More Supreme Daiquiri is a nice change of pace for Daiquiri lovers!

MORE SUPREME DAIQUIRI
1½ oz Aged rhum agricole 
¾ oz Freshly-squeezed lime juice
½ oz Rich Demerara simple syrup
¼ oz Campari or similar Italian red bitter liqueur

Combine all ingredients in a shaker about two-thirds full of ice and shake for 15-20 seconds to mix and chill well. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail coupe or Martini glass, and garnish with a grind of black pepper over the surface of the drink.
