Refreshing and fruity! I selected Yuki Otoko Snow Yeti Nigori Junmai Sake for this drink, as it’s a bit lighter and rounder than our other nigori sake options, so it doesn’t compete with the fruitiness.
LITTLE BAMBOO
3 oz Nigori sake (Snow Yeti)
¾ oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ oz Pomegranate juice (POM Wonderful)
½ oz Orgeat
One small sprig of rosemary
Shake the bottle of sake before pouring that portion, to integrate the rice solids. Chill a large cocktail coupe or Martini glass before mixing.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice and shake for 10-15 seconds until well chilled, then fine-strain into the chilled glass to remove any bits from the rosemary. Garnish with a small spoonful of pomegranate arils floated in the drink, a curl of lemon peel, or a wheel of sliced lemon.
Take me back to What nigori saké is, and three cocktails to make with it.
